Barack Obama bought and paid for these banks. They better get in line behind his plan to abolish the secret ballot in unionization elections.  That’s Rachel Maddow’s position, as expressed on her show tonight. The MSNBC host is furious that banks taking bail-out funds have the audacity to do what they think is in the best interest of their businesses, instead of supporting the president’s scheme to do away with what most Americans consider a sacred element of democracy: the secret ballot.

Apparently Citi and Bank of America have hosted conference calls in which opposition was expressed to the Obama-backed, Orwellian-named, Employee Free Choice Act, which would permit the abolition of the secret ballot in unionization elections.  That infuriated Maddow . . .

RACHEL MADDOW: The banks got ba-frickin’-zillions of government dollars to save them. And now? Now they’re doing exactly what they want with that money, which apparently includes hosting telephone rallies against President Obama’s favorite policies, namely the Employee Free Choice Act.

Got that? You take Mr. Barack’s dime, you support Mr. Barack’s policies. You want we should send some of the boys over to explain that to youse?
