And as I wrote here, last week, Rachel Maddow—a less pretentious but every bit as leftist version of Keith Olbermann— had also given McCain a very warm welcome on her show. Speaking with Maddow, Meghan didn’t invite anyone to pucker up to her posterior, but her basic message was the same: conservative Republicans bad, Ann Coulter in particular.
I’d say Meghan needs to look around and consider who her new friends are. One thing is absolutely clear: they want her to fail. Meghan claims to “love” the Republican party and wants to broaden its appeal. Maddow and Behar hate almost all things Republican. They have no interest in seeing the party succeed. They are making room for Meghan not because they’re hoping she will help expand the party. To the contrary, they’re looking only to stir the pot, to garner ratings while ginning up GOP trouble.
If Meghan McCain were sincerely interested in the GOP, she would have sought out Coulter and Ingraham and engaged in some constructive dialogue. Instead, she’s looking for approval in all the wrong places. Lie down with the likes of Behar and Maddow, wake up with liberal fleas.
Note: “Today” and GMA both ran segments on Meghan’s feud with Ingraham and Coulter. You can view the Today version here. GMA focused on that feminist favorite: women’s body images, prompted by Laura’s dead-on imitation of a Valley Girl Meghan worrying that as a “plus-size,” she couldn’t make it as a model.

Of course I have heard about this by now…as far as I am concerned the apple doesn’t fall from the tree.
She loves the attention she is getting now, her fifteen minutes of fame won’t last long, but she made a huge mistake opening her mouth while she makes room for both feet when it comes to the conservatives and how they view her and her antics.
Btw…this whining from her is pathetic…don’t light a match if you don’t know where that fire is going to spread Mehgan…and you have no way of putting it out.
She adores the attention she is getting, so my advice to her is please just register as a democrat and take your dad with you…you both are perfect fits.
That’s my rant…and I’m sticking to it!
“Instead, she’s looking for approval in all the wrong places.”
Hmm, where have we seen that before?
Don’t go away mad, Meghan, just go away.
