Carlson: Euro Governments ‘Afraid Of Their Muslim Population’

The Euro leaders’ adulation of The Obama didn’t translate into providing any more combat troops for Afghanistan.  Some might chalk it up to commonplace continental fecklessness. But Tucker Carlson has offered a much more chilling explanation, one with ramifications extending far beyond the specific matter at hand.

Appearing on Morning Joe today, Carlson flatly stated that “Europe is afraid of its own Muslim population.”

He continued:

TUCKER CARLSON: And that’s one of the main reasons it doesn’t want to commit troops to Afghanistan, because it’s afraid of domestic unrest in its own countries. So that has nothing to with how we’re perceived or who our president is, that’s European cowardice on display, period.

Carlson returned to the theme a bit later in response to an observation by Willie Geist.

WILLIE GEIST: Obama did make the point overseas this week that Tucker just made, telling Europe that in fact you’re closer to Afghanistan, you’re closer to Iraq, you’re closer to the Taliban than we are.  He tried to make this about Europe’s own interests, but apparently based on the outcome of the Afghanistan negotiations, it was not a compelling enough argument for the European countries, Tucker.

CARLSON:  Apparently not! I mean, we imagine that they have the same interests that we do, but they don’t. And again, there are massive and restive Muslim populations in a lot of these countries, and the leaders of these countries are acutely aware of that, and that fact informs their foreign-policy decisions.  Again, that has nothing to do with us.  They’re afraid.

If Carlson is right, the situation is likely only to get worse. As Mark Steyn describes in America Alone, Europe, through low fertility rates, is committing slow demographic suicide.  The only populations reproducing at a better-than-replacement rate there are the Muslim ones.  By the end of this century, Europe might be European in name only.  In the meantime, its governments are likely to be increasingly cowed by populations with limited allegiance to Western values and interests.

I normally pay Tucker Carlson no attention, but he nailed this one.

The continent soon to be known as Eurabia isn’t going to be much help in the GWOT.

Actually, the way things are going here in America, I’m not sure we are, either.

As Tucker says here…”they are afraid”…

…and that they are…and this is at their own making to-boot….

As far as I am concerned, we are slowly but doing the same here as slowly but surely, some laws in some states have catered to the Muslim groups and their lawyers…with CAIR leading the way.

Our country had better wake up…soon.

It is terrible enough with all the illegals we have in this country now…and more to come as far as I see what our congress-critters are doing with the Dream Act…along with the latest tactics with Janet Napolitano, good old Home-Land Security whiz-bang we have leading the way.

It was refreshing to catch Carlson this morning…instead of Joe..he spoke the truth.

That’s why they wouldn’t help out when Bush was President, but the leftists insisted it was because Bush made them hate us!

Heck, Europe didn’t care when the Balkans were igniting right under their noses; why would they care about Afghanistan??

France is afraid to sneeze, lest they irritate the “disenfranchised youths” in their country, and the rest are not far behind.
Time to order and read Mark Steyn’s “America Alone”
Gotta wonder how long we can hold out….
