Man Demanding Flight To Cuba Not, Repeat Not, Obama

obamachavezWhen you awoke this morning to the news that a man on a West Indian island had commandeered a plane and was demanding to be flown to Cuba, I know what you were thinking:

OK, Pres. Obama is taking this goodwill thing at the Summit of the Americas in Trinidad a tad too far.  It was one thing to give Hugo Chavez a smiling, macho-boy handshake. It was understandable that he would sit silent while Daniel Ortega of Nicaragua poured bile on the USA for 50 minutes.  We get it about his announcement of opening up to Cuba.  But making this kind of dramatic gesture demonstrating his love of Castro-land just seems to be stretching things a bit.  I mean, if he wanted to visit the island that badly, couldn’t he just have flown there in Air Force One?

Anyhow, turns out that the hijacking took place on Jamaica, not Trinidad, and the man involved is not PBO but some man with reported mental problems.  So forget all that.

OSoros outdoes Clinton with apologies and the constant fix he needs for the national/world spotlight…

He alone is redefining the definition of narcissism.
