Mika Brzezinski, agreeing with Joe, lifted the veil on the goings-on behind the scenes, describing an enraptured TV production crew scrambling to get the most flattering shots of the prez and First Lady.
JOE SCARBOROUGH: As a conservative that has sat through probably seven of the eight Bush events, where people were snarling in the audience: ‘this is wrong! It is wrong for us to sit and laugh with the man that we are supposed to cover!’ Remember, the New York Times stormed out and said they were never coming back?
It was seriously, it was hero worship. What I saw the other night was like a bunch of teenage girls waiting for a Bay City Rollers concert, waiting to scream at the top of their [lungs].
And a bit later . . .
SCARBOROUGH: The other night, I saw an entire audience in love with the man they were covering. And when I say in love, I mean deep, abiding, obsessed-fed love.
And a bit later.
MIKA BRZEZINSKI: I definitely agree with you: I saw that there, Joe. And even the people running the behind-the-scenes, trying to figure out what shots to put on the air, were like “ooh, look at Michelle Obama: she looks so good! Oh, go to him, go to him!”

Reminds me of Tucker Carlson’s
“It’s red-in-the-face, I-think-about-you-when-I-go-to-bed, too embarrassed to stand up, it’s sealed-with-a-kiss love. I mean, it’s real, it’s palpable.”
The MSM in America have completely lost their moorings. They are beyond hope.
The Bay City Rollers were, thankfully, a one-hit wonder.
Lets all hope that, for the continued survival of this nation (notice I didn’t say existence, as we are going to have to really work to keep it now) Barack Hussein Obama will be a one-hit wonder as well.
We will not survive an Act II.
