Jill Schlesinger’s solution was to tell the truth . . . but to preface it letting the world know “I love the government.”
CBS Early Show weekend co-host Erica Hill this morning interviewed Schlesinger, a CBS Market Watch editor, about the bankruptcy. The specific topic at hand was discerning the winners and the losers in the deal. Talk turned to the taxpayer . . .
ERICA HILL: The American taxpayer, who has really funded so much of this and is going to be funding a lot more but are we going to be making any money off this deal?
JILL SCHLESINGER: The government says that by 2013 we’re getting our money back. And I gotta tell you: I love the government, but that is real rosy outlook.
A valiant effort by Schlesinger to stay in good Obama graces! How many MSMers do you figure declared their love for the government during during the Bush administration?

This is pathetic…then again, most of the msm is.
Bow to the messiah…all of them do, after-all, they put him in there…now some fear him…watch what and how they say anything…got to stay in his good graces.
JILL SCHLESINGER: “The government says that by 2013 we’re getting our money back.”
Excuse me, Jill, but HOW THE H-E-double Hockey Sticks are we going to “get our money back”??????
The government is printing and spending money the country doesn’t have, and WE are going to get it BACK??? We don’t even have it to begin with; how can we get it “back”??
And who is the “WE”?????
This is the biggest pile of B as in B, S as in S, that I have heard….well, since the last pile….
I really can’t stand this….
In fairness to Jill, she was expressing skepticism about the Obama admin’s claim that taxpayers would be repaid by 2013. It was for that very reason that she apparently felt the need to make amends by prefacing her statement by saying that “I love the government.”
Well, OK, I stand corrected. LOL
Take out the “Excuse me Jill” and replace it with “Excuse me Mr. President…”
Bingo.
