Obama Rubs In His Sarkozy Snub

haughyobama

In the guise of supposedly softpedaling his shunning of French prez Sarkozy, whose dinner invitation he spurned, Pres. Obama has actually rubbed in the snub.

Check out this report on the incident [emphasis added]:

This morning in Caen France, the President was asked why he was not spending more time in France and specifically why the Obamas turned down a dinner invitation last night by the French power couple President Sarkozy and his wife, Carla Bruni.

“What it means is that I have a very tough schedule,” the President laughed back, “I would love nothing more than to have a leisurely week in Paris, stroll down the Seine, take my wife out to a nice meal, have a picnic in Luxembourg gardens. Those days are over, for the moment.”

Notice what’s missing from PBO’s list?

Right! PBO wishes he could do lots of things in Paris.  He even specifies his desire to have two different meals in the City of Lights.  But there’s one thing he pointedly doesn’t mention he wished he had the time to do: dine with the Sarkozys!

I’d say PBO just added fuel to the Sarkozy snub “feu.”

Hey, isn’t it the French who are supposedly snobby?!

Note: So PBO’s at odds with Sarkozy, as well as with Angela Merkel of Germany.  The Israelis are ticked at him, too.  The only folks who seem to like him are . . . the Arabs, who see PBO as an imam. Interesting!

Wasn’t that the whole point of this trip?

Regarding the Sarkozy snub: the man is a master of the backhanded dig. Like the “double-fudge” you mentioned the other day, Mark.

The more I see and hear of him (and believe me, I try to avoid it!) the more his arrogance grates on me!

The real problem is that the feeling is mutual between BO and the Arabs. Arrogance is such an ugly thing.

I read that too…the empty-suit is about as phony as a two dollar bill as far as I am concerned, and of course the majority of the msm continues to support and give their praises to their messiah, it’s unbelievable at times.

To top off his audicity he has the gall to tell congress he wants his National Health Care passed soon, while he is over seas…

Charles Grassley had a great response to him today…I mean great. I’ll have to look for the link and put it here later.
